My most recent issue is the real kicker: I ordered a Gretsch Rancher Falcon acoustic guitar online. While I don't expect compensation, I felt as though I was deserving of it. They sent me the wrong guitar, and did I get any compensation? No. A year ago, I ordered a Gretsch Streamliner, and what did they send me? A Schecter. I have been a customer of guitar center for many years, however they have finally tipped the iceberg with utterly terrible service. Hopefully my experience will save you a headache. In this case, I'm more disappointed than anything. I, for one, expect to get what I pay for. Electronics glitch, malfunction, burnout, die. So, we'll just assume this is standard practice. No apologies, not even any pretend " We don't know how this happened, we'll get to the bottom of it. WASN'T THAT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN THE FIRST TIME, IF THAT'S WHAT I PAID FOR?! So, when I declined, my options became either accepting a check ( remember I paid cash), or store credit(LOL). I guy in Pro Audio offered to re-order for my and promised to "make sure I got a new one this time". Sped straight back to the store to give their junk back to them. Yeah, I was pretty upset to say the least. Not a new, but a USED product! No instructions, no warranty card, power cord just tossed in the box, a million fingerprints on the screen and buttons. Get home, open the shipping box and can't believe what I've been sent. 5 days later, I get the email informing me that my package has arrived, so I head to pick it up. I recently went into Guitar Center in Greensboro, NC and ordered a New MPC One because they only had used models in store, which I wasn't interested in.
